For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits for women, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional.
I hadn’t heard that Cushnie et Ochs split up, leaving only designer Carly Cushnie behind — but the sleek, minimalist aesthetic is gorgeous. The brand doesn’t have a ton of suits at the moment, but I love the silk charmeuse detailing here — gorgeous, gorgeous. The blazer was $1,595 but is now marked to $718 at Cushnie. The high-waisted cropped pant was $795 but is now marked to $477.
(H/t to Shoppe Black, which looks like another great resource if you’re looking for Black-owned companies to support right now; we’ll add them to our list.)
