While justice-demanding protests and Instagram blackouts have taken center stage this week, if change is going to happen, support of the Black community can’t stop there. If you too are wondering what you can do as an ally beyond pressing the “post” button or making a donation, the answer is clear: it’s extremely important now (and always) to support small, Black-owned businesses.
We’ve rounded up 36 brands owned by BIPOC (a large majority of them owned by women)—where you can purchase health and beauty products, clothing, jewelry, home decor, spices, wine, books, and so much more. So instead of placing yet another order for these things on Prime, consider shopping at one of these small businesses instead.

Step 1: Once per week (or every other week depending on dryness/ damage level) apply our #DontDespairRepair deep conditioning mask and leave in hair for 5-10 minutes before rinsing
Step 2: After masking, apply a few drops of our #DontDespairRepair strengthening treatment oil, focusing on mid-length to ends, to seal down the hair cuticles that have been damaged by treatments like coloring, heat styling, over-washing or chemical straightening
Step 3: Enjoy the results! That's it!

. Also super proud of this (mad simple lool) plant pot cover I made! I've been struggling the past few weeks with creating anything tbh so I've been trying to pivot to other areas I've neglected a bit, so sewing more, slowly redecorating my room and cooking a lot more (made my own udon noodles from scratch the other day
) . Next on the cooking hitlist are some cakes from @bakedbybenji gorgeous cookbook and randomly I'd really like to recreate some US style biscuits (the buttery scone kind not our UK "biscuits") so if you've got a good recipe lemme know!
