The Golden Globes are the start of Awards Season, and 2021 is the first digital event the Golden Globes has participated in. Cynthia Erivo stunned in a Valentino Haute Couture dress from the brand’s Spring 2021 collection, while Maya Rudolph and Leslie Odom Jr. both wore the Italian brand as well. Margot Robbie & Shira Haas disappointed in Chanel, while Andra Day proved that Virginie Viard’s Chanel can easily be shown in a positive light, you just have to have a smart stylist to showcase that. Nicola Coughlin & Rosamund Pike both donned the British designer Molly Goddard and her bodacious tulle gowns! Sarah Paulson wore a Prada dress designed by Miuccia Prada & Raf Simons, and a sequined cast made it even better. Kristen Wiig & Julia Garner also had Prada moments, while Emma Corrin wore Prada’s sister brand Miu Miu. Regina King & Nicole Kidman gave me hope for Louis Vuitton’s future red carpet custom dresses. Celeste wore Gucci, while Lily Collins pulled an Emily in Paris in Saint Laurent. Anya Taylor-Joy stunned in Dior Haute Couture, which was a real sight. And Viola Davis was ethereal in Lavie by CK as she shone so brightly!
